To create an atmosphere of cultural and artistic exchange, we welcome all Artists, worldwide! Amateur or established - Painters, Writers, Photographers, Musicians, small scale Sculptors, Poets, Illustrators, Digital Artists, Textiles, etc.

  • New Artists who would benefit from surrounding themselves with other Artists in practice.

  • Emerging Artists wanting to further immerse themselves in the creative experience.

  • Established Artists looking for new approaches to their work or wanting to explore working in a new environment.

  • Artists wanting a dedicated period of time to focus on projects without the distractions of their daily lives.

  • Artist couples, where both are artists, working together or independently.

FEES/TUITION:

The cost to apply is free.

The cost to attend one of the 2 week Sessions at Chateau de Cerisay in France for 2025/2026 is $2800.00 (US)

We do not offer grants or scholarships. There are many organizations worldwide that provide grants and aid directly to Artist. We encourage you to seek them out in your area and for your discipline.

Things to consider before applying:

  • Disabilities and Mobility: People with mobility issues may find it difficult to attend due to the architectural layout of the properties and the physical demands of some of our outings. We will not have additional staff available to assist.

Included with your tuition:

  • Housing (Private room)
  • Studio space
  • Chef prepared Dinner each evening. Fresh deliveries each morning from the Boulangerie, Breakfast & lunch items provided for artists to prepare at the Chateau.
  • Programming related events.
  • Transportation related to planned group outings & day trips. 

 Not included with your Tuition/Fee:

  • Transportation to/from the destination.
  • Additional meals outside of the in-house dinners & the items described above. (We do not want to dictate work schedules by overly structuring mealtimes)
  • Alcohol
  • Costs associated with activities not scheduled as part of the program.
  • Cost of materials for Artist’s work.
